Free iredmail version is very basic, barely useful unfortunately.

I'd recommend mailcow for regular usage, or mailinabox if you're low on RAM or configuring email for server (not for people).

What hosting / VPS companies do you recommend? Finding one which allows you to run a mail server is some work.

A lot of them will let you if you ask, for instance even ionos or ovh. Digital ocean have a blanket ban on port 25 ipv6 but I haven't seen a reason to use them for a decade now. +1 for mythic beasts

Mythic beasts. Their IP ranges are pretty clean and well managed. My deliverability has been fine there for years.

They are quite expensive for some ranges of storage which you might need for IMAP if you need a lot less than where the HDD pricing starts.

On the other hand HDD is fine for a mail server and you can get 400Gb for not much more than some email providers will charge you for three 10Gb mailboxes.

"The expensive ones"

is iButton still a thing?

Is it me, or is anyone just numb to all these breach articles? I take all the precautions, use 2FA everywhere, stay away from sketchy sites, use ad/malware blocker and the issue is always never the individual. It's usually the website/app and their lack of security, not keeping up with patching or sloppy programming.

I picked up one from the kickstarter campaign. It's a wonderful, well-made device and open-source to boot. I plan to buy more.

i routinely upgrade my WSL2 kernel. Now on 6.6.87.1. Personally, I love WSL2.

The first question should be: Was he listed on any Forbes list?

Are you referring to the "Forbes fraudy under forty" list?

It's the lang devs were comfortable with and some of them came from the asterisk world.

I maybe wrong, but I think you need to enable the module for API access.

Yeah, it's enabled with `load mod_xml_rpc`. Listening on 8080.

    $ ./test3 # see above

hmmm

This reminds me of a video I watched about a jeans maker in Japan.
