Google apps gives a 502, along with a helpful:

"502. That’s an error.

The server encountered a temporary error and could not complete your request.

Please try again in 30 seconds. That’s all we know."

ha, I thought the same thing...then tried to Google it and only got results leading to google forums which are also down.
